Complete 3D print in PLA with a painted finish
This project was initiated by a disassembly/assembly course. The chosen product to run its' course down the disassembly line, was a Tefal espresso machine from the 1970's. Exploding the product, determining the individual materials, and its' properties, and thereafter replacing them all with more sustainable alternatives. Creating a cylindrical shape to communicate the difficulties of practicing circular economi in the industry, because it's a downward spiral, and placing the different elements by most-polluting-materials, to emphasize the lack of material transparency.
